If anyone had cared to notice, there is a new character floating around my gallery. His name is Nava and he is a badgerwolf. His master is the Chief (Chief Red) and they are part of my stories of Sloan the fox. I drew so many pictures of him in the first day I created him and trust me, there are way more than what I uploaded haha

Just an update :)

To people who care about Sloan:

Well, I am 30,000 words into my novel about Sloan the Fox and his adventures in the hidden world he calls his home. It is split in to 5 parts with 50,000 words the goal. I have written three parts already and began the fourth when I realized that I don't have a novel on my hands; I have a saga. That's right. After 30,000 words and three parts in three different POVs, I have realized that This isn't just one novel and it can't be rushed to be finished so fast.

SO, Book one will be in Sloan's POV, while Book Two will be in Shiloh's, Book Three in Spencer's and Book Four in Skylan's. They all are connected to each other even though they don't know it until the end. So yeah. Yesterday I had a novel on my hands, and now I have a saga. *facepalm*

I am already looking for an agent to help me get them published so keep eye on my journals because they will tell you the progress of Sloan's story and where it is!

Wish me luck!

Hello microscopic number of people who read this!

The story of Sloan in production! I am doing something called NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in which you write a 50,000 word novel in thirty days and this year I chose to write about Sloan. By the end of this month, Sloan's story will be told!

As a prize for proving you completed your 50,000 words by the end of the month, you get a free edit and paperback copy of your novel from! Being so, I will spend most of my winter holiday editing my pages and preparing them to be published. Once they are, my book will be available to be purchased on (and I think amazon too but I'm not positive).

Please let me know if you are interested in reading it and when it is done, I will send you a link. :XD:

Hello, microscopic number of people who keep up with my novel "The Tales of Sloan"!

First off, I am putting it all together. The plot is much more stable now and the characters are taking shape. I started typing it out and I'm liking it. I also would like to say that I hope for it to be done by November 30th at 12am because I am taking part in NaNoWriMo for the third year in a row. (If you aren't familiar with NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, you can read about it here:

Anyways, I want to come up with some sort of cover idea for it and I want your help. I have ideas but I want other input on it. If you would like to sketch me an idea, please feel free. I want it to be simple and it must have: "The Tales of Sloan" and "Arizona Hale" somewhere on it.

If anyone wants to do this, please let me know! I would greatly appreciate it and it would prove that someone is actually interested in the story of Sloan and his comrades.

Thanks again!

Tired of feeling ordinary? Does your day go the same way each time? Want to feel epic?  Well this journal entry is for you! Here are the simple and easy steps to feeling epic every day!

1. Buy "The Imperial March" on itunes.
2. Put it on your listening device.
3. Listen to it while driving, running, walking down the halls at university, working, planting flowers, doing homework, eating muffins, conquering Europe, taming unicorns and more!

Make ordinary tasks epic with only one song!

Turn ordinary meal time into EPIC meal time.
Turn driving in traffic into EPICALLY driving in traffic!
And feel like the ruler or everything and listen to it while walking through the halls at school or work!

Follow these steps and your life will be more epic! Only 99 cents!

*   *   *   *   *

Notes: The Imperial March came on my shuffle when I was driving today and when I was at university the other day and I couldn't help but notice how truly epic it made me feel. There are a lot of people out there whose days go the exact same every day, but if they had The Imperial March on their listening devices, they could feel epic doing those same everyday tasks! Doing homework while listening to this makes you feel like your doing epic homework and walking down the halls makes you feel like the ruler or the world. I'm telling you, you must try it!

If anyone does actually try this, tell me how it makes you feel!

(This pointless journal entry has been brought to you by Arizona).

I'm sorry, I really am. I have been working so hard on getting "The Tales of Sloan" posted for a few of you who actually read it, but it is taking so much more time than I originally thought. Plus, I have been so busy lately! I have classes, work, a horse to care for, i just joined the Sketchbook Project, so I have that now too and the little time I have for fun goes to Sloan. Poor, Sloan, I know. I have been working to further the plot and develop the story, and let me tell you, I love where it is going. I promise, I will get something up for you guys! Whether it a clip of the story, a character and background or new drawings. I'm trying so bear with me!

So tell me, what would you like to see?

Alright guys, I have been working hard to write and get the pages up for you. After thinking about it hard, I have decided to only put part of my novel online. For copyright purposes, I don't feel comfortable putting the entire thing on here. I am not saying any of my lovely followers would steal my story, but it still worries me that someone will. I will put a chunk of it up and then will have it self published through where it will be available to purchase for cheap. So if you really want to know what happens to Sloan and the other three heroes, I will post a link where it can be purchased. Sorry if this is inconvenient, but as an author, I must think about the safety of my work.

So tell me: If I had the stories of Sloan published and put online for cheap, would you buy it?

I have been working hard on getting my stories of Sloan and his mates together. I have been writing characters, creating plots, discovering new things about my world everyday. Here is a brief summary of what you can expect from these tales. Please leave HONEST feedback. I really need to know if this is something anyone would ever read.

Sloan is a red fox with a dark past and nowhere to go. His old friend Kit, a culpeo fox with darkness in his soul, has successfully turned their hidden home into a place of war, anger, and depression. Having done something he will forever regret and having lost everything he ever cared about, he wanders the scorched lands in search of something more and something to live for. Little does he know that he is part of a prophecy that says the hard times will be ended by four strangers who hold the keys to the chests of old. Together the four—Sloan, Shiloh, Spencer, and Skylan—will restore the lands to how they were before Kit and his followers destroyed them in a rampage of power.

Based in a time where the human world has since perished in high technology and ruined forests, The Tales of Sloan tells the story of four unlikely heroes who are faced with the task to save the only place left that hasn't been viciously destroyed by the humans' carelessness and greed.

If anyone would read this, tell me. If you hate it, tell me. If you could care less, please tell me!

ALSO if you have any questions about Sloan or the story, please feel free to ask them!

I really don't think people here understand art. I send my art to groups and they decline it with bogus reasons. My piece
"d a m a g e d" was declined by a lot of groups with complaints about the quality of it. Even though I completely explained the reason it was blurry, they still refused to accept it. There is a story behind that photo but they just don't get it. The girl in that photo is a character of mine from a story I am writing. She has seen some hard times in her short life and she is damaged because of it. She probably will never be the same again. The photo is blurry to represent that her original self has faded away, the green eyes show her old self is still there somewhere, the braids show her innocence, and the black paint over her eyes represents the hardships she has seen. It was all done this way for a reason yet these groups don't read the description and just see a weird girl in a blurry photo.

Then there is my new deviation "g u i d e d". It was declined by the group because of the angle the photo was taken at. The main part of this photo is the perspective. Spirit guides are mysterious and very personal. The angle I took this at isn't a head on scan/photo because spirit guides are usually not straight forward with who they are guiding. That is why the angle is like that but yet again, an idiotic group declined it because of it. I don't think my art is that unusual yet so many groups just don't understand why I do these things because they don't bother to read the description box! It is so frustrating that I can't submit my art to groups because some person was too lazy to understand the piece and why it is that way!

Alright. For the microscopic number of you who read my story called "The Tales of Sloan the Fox", this journal is for you.

I have been going over my stories of Sloan and his comrades and I have decided to go through and plan the entire thing out. Before I was just writing it as I went, but now I want it all to come together in the end. So for a while, my Sloan tales will be out of commission.  I know, I know, no one really cares, but I'm just saying! This story has become so much better since I decided to plan it all out, so I am hoping to get it all together and get my pages up soon. I know no one really reads this but I like writing and even if I am typing to myself, I'm going to let myself know that Sloan is on hold. Alright then. Thanks to myself to listening to myself. :D

Dear people who read actually read my story of Sloan the Fox,

Sorry for the lack of posting the next section of the story. It has been a crazy couple of weeks. My grandma had a major heart surgery and we were in Florida for 2 weeks while that was going on, then when I came back I had to catch up on everything I missed whilst taking on a new job and loathing the one I already had. BUT, things are slowing down now and I will work hard to get the next section up. I already have through page 15 written, I just have to take the time to make the little paintings that go with them.

If you read my stories about Sloan, I am very much grateful and I love you all :)

The new section will be up soon! :D

everyone would be vegetarian."

This was said by none other than Paul McCartney. Recently my mom saw this short but disturbing documentary narrated by Paul McCartney himself. It gives the insight to what is behind slaughterhouses for pigs, cows, chickens/turkeys and fish. It is horrifying and the thought of knowing we put these animals through unimaginable torture to eat them. It isn't just cows, pigs, chicken/turkeys and fish either. Horses are slaughtered for no reason at all.

Do you know what usually happens to race horses that aren't fast enough anymore? That's right. Sent to slaughter. Three and four year old colts and fillies are sent to slaughter just because they are no longer and effective racer. They are sent away as if they couldn't be turned into English jumpers, Western rodeo horses or trail horses. I have a horse. He is trained to do rodeo barrel racing. One day, he won't be able to run around the barrels as fast anymore and to think that when that happened he would be loaded onto an overstuffed trailer and be sent to a slaughterhouse to be inhumanely killed just because he couldn't run as fast anymore just breaks my heart. People actually do this. And its not just the horses. Cows never forget a face and then they are packed into tight spaces and inhumanely killed and hung upside down to be killed...sometime while they are still alive. Yes, ALIVE.

If slaughterhouses did have glass walls, the world would be disgusted to see what is happening. Its sad to know that lions can kill their prey humanely but humans, who believe themselves to be the most intelligent species, stoop so low to torture these animals before they kill them.

To help this cause, you can become vegetarian. On the PETA website, it tells you how many innocent animals you will save in your lifetime is you become vegetarian. In my lifetime, it estimated I would save about 18,000 animals if I became vegetarian. The numbers are astounding.

Will you ignore the cruelty?

There are a couple stories of how the cheetah got its tears and I just want to share:

The first story is short, but I love it :D

Once, there was a mother cheetah. She loved her cub very much. One day, he got lost. She searched and she searched and she called and she called. She cried so hard and long that her tears burnt black streaks into her face.

The second story is longer, but just as good :)

When the world was first created, all the animals came down onto the savanna. The cheetah got used to the new world it was in and ran around. Soon, the cheetah grew lonely and went to look for more of her kind. The cheetah spotted some big cats in the distance and ran to them. They were lions. The cheetah told the male lion about how she was looking for her own kind and the lion told the cheetah that she was no lion. She was much too thin to be a lion and her claws were like a dog's. Feeling discouraged, the cheetah continued her search. She came across a pack of wild dogs and told them what the lion had said. They all howled with laughter. They said the cheetah was no dog because of her round head and ears and rough tongue. The cheetah ran away in fear. When she finally stopped, she laid down under a tree. The cheetah felt so sad about her rejections that she began to cry. A giraffe walked up quietly and asked the cheetah why she cried. The cheetah told the giraffe about what the lions and wild dogs had said and how she had cried so much that her beautiful face was now stained with black tear streaks. A bird flying by saw the cheetah and told her how he has traveled the land and she was the most splendid and unique of all the cats. From that day, the cheetah had its tears and chirped to show how proud it was to be the most unique of all the cats.

I love these stories and I figured I would share them :D

So yesterday, my mum and I were arguing over watching ellen or Oprah. I wanted to watch ellen, and she wanted to watch Oprah. So we started on Oprah because she has a preview of what she will be talking about each day. So its starts "Today on Oprah..." Of course, since we are both mature adults, we were standing in front of the tv arguing...okay, maybe not so adult. But anyway, Oprah was talking about "National Coming Out Day". Wanting to watch ellen's monologue, without thinking I yelled:

"If you want to see that, just watch ellen!"

...needless to day, we watched ellen :D Love ellen so much! <3

Just thought I'd share that. XD

This was a dream I had a few nights ago and I just HAD to write it down. Feedback please?

The sun shone down mystically on the wheat coloured grass of the African grasslands. The light was very dream-like and happy, as if nothing in this world would ever go wrong. The lions were on some sort of ledge, but it didn’t look like an enclosure. It felt as if the lions and I were the only ones around at all. It was just us. Up top the grassy ledge were many lions, including the King and Queen of the pride. As I approached, the dream-like sun shinning down on me with great intensity, the king gave me a little growl as if to acknowledge my presence. With that, him and his queen rose from the ledge and walked off into the white nothing.

I played with the little cubs that pounced around and play fought with each other. After a while, I spotted a young white lion male lying on his side off in the distance. I left the little cubs to play and walked over to him, intrigued. Everything was silent as I approached. He sat up, his large front paws dangling over the ledge, and looked at me. I stood about five feet from where he lay and stared at him. He stared back, just as interested. He was a beautiful white lion even without his mane fully grown in yet. Finally, still gazing at his beauty, I spoke.

“I just want to touch your mane.” It was softly spoken and only heard by the lion before me. I slowly moved closer to him, moving my arm, ready to reach towards him. He watched me with his stunning eyes as if he trusted me completely. I reached my hand up and felt the softness of his mane under my fingertips. As he sat still watching me, being very noble looking, I ran my fingers through his mane. I stood, completely entwined with the silk feel of his white mane, realizing that I did not fear him. I was not afraid to stand in his presence and he obviously did not worry that I was there to hurt him. I never gave a second thought that he would hurt me. I approached him fearlessly to embrace his natural beauty. Complete and utter trust between a girl and one of Africa’s most dangerous predators.
